About the team

The Sony Semiconductor Israel Sales and Business Development team is responsible for the overall revenue and forecast of Sony Semiconductor Israel business unit.

The company’s business model is built on partnerships and channels. Therefore, the team’s mission is to create and maintain partnerships with leading vendors in the global IOT market and work with them to win opportunities A to Z.

Winning deals requires a comprehensive understanding of the product, the market, the stakeholders, and the ecosystem. The sales manager is a conductor of a big orchestra that consists of our direct partners and all the other stakeholders in the ecosystem.

The day-to-day involves sales, business development, and relationship management with customers and partners around the globe.

Though located in Israel, the department maintains ongoing communication with the Sony HQ in Japan. It engages with a broad range of customers through dedicated teams and BD managers strategically located in each of our target regions, fostering alliances, managing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and driving them from initial engagement to mass production.
