Responsibilities
Join a dynamic team working on the development of System-On-Chip for Sony Semiconductor IL’s cutting-edge 5G IoT and AI products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing verification environments, from block-level to chip-level. You'll implement advanced verification methodologies, collaborate closely with the design team, and provide support to software and production teams. Additionally, you'll research and apply the latest industry technologies and standards across areas such as communications, processors, and interconnect.
Requirements
- Develop and improve verification environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage from block-level to chip-level.
- Implement and refine advanced verification methodologies in collaboration with the design team.
- Support software and production teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the System-On-Chip (SoC).
- Conduct research on industry technologies and standards, integrating best practices and innovative solutions into the verification process.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, promoting proactive attitudes and independent thinking.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- At least 6 years of experience in the verification flow of complex designs, including test plan definition and coverage closure.
- Strong understanding of high-level system flows and constraints.
- Proven experience with Specman and/or SystemVerilog.
- Independent thinker, curious, and motivated.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
- Background in System-On-Chip flows and on-chip interconnect protocols.

In this role, you'll lead, mentor, and guide a team of verification engineers, ensuring the development of innovative and robust verification environments, from block-level to chip-level. You will drive the implementation of sophisticated verification methodologies for System-On-Chip flows, collaborate closely with the design team, and provide critical support to SW and production teams. Additionally, you'll research and integrate cutting-edge industry technologies and standards across various fields such as communications, processors, and interconnect.

- Oversee the development and improvement of verification environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage from block-level to chip-level.
- Implement and refine advanced verification methodologies in collaboration with the design team.
- Support SW and production teams, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of the System-On-Chip.
- Conduct research on industry technologies and standards, integrating best practices and innovative solutions into the verification process.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting proactive attitudes and independent thinking.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering/Computer Science from an established university.
- At least 6 years of experience in the verification flow of complex designs from test plan definition to coverage closure.
- Strong understanding of high-level system flows and constraints.
- Proven experience with Specman and/or System Verilog.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
